This is a brief biography of Marin Luther King, Jr.

Another title in this well-known series, this biography of Martin Luther King, Jr. does an excellent job of highlighting the major events of King’s life. While it is very informational, it never mentions the name of Jesus. It does often mention the fact that King was a minister, but leans much more into his influences by Gandhi rather than Christ. While this is to be expected of a secular series, it is disappointing, but it is still a useful book to help your 8-12-year-old learn much about King in a fairly brief read.
