Summary
This is a brief story Bible type book that focuses on the Psalms and Proverbs. There are 35 entries focusing on ideas from either the Psalms or Proverbs. Each entry has a descriptive section that explains an idea and then ends with scripture.
Mom Thoughts
This is a follow-up to the Tiny Truths Illustrated Bible. The Psalms and Proverbs are greatly overlooked in story Bibles and I love the idea of giving them full attention in a story Bible setting. However, this has similar issues, although not as far-reaching, as the original book.
People are referred to as God’s children, and Scripture is clear that only those in Christ are God’s children. While this is much more general and there are fewer theological errors, I can’t get too excited about this title, although I appreciate the desire to teach young children the Psalms and Proverbs.
