Mom Thoughts

This graphic novel was originally released from Kingstone Comics in 2017 and then released in conjunction with Voice of the Martyrs in 2020. Therefore, there are two different covers available, but, they contain the same pages. In true Kingstone Comic style, this book is not for the faint of heart or those easily disturbed by violent illustrations. There are often depictions of blood and many times of these people’s deaths. It is a striking and humbling reminder of the reality of what they went through for the name of Christ.

Because of the nature of the images, I would not recommend this for children under 10, but older might be wiser for some. These types of books usually resonate more with boys, but for those that gravitate to this kind of storytelling, this could be an eye-opening and effective resource.
