Mom Thoughts
This playful and imaginatively illustrated picture book lives up to its subtitle: God at Work in the Bible’s Watery Tales. Caroline Saunders has a natural way with words and this book is no exception. Her use of water-related words weaved throughout the text is skillful and not overdone. “But God knew the people’s real problem wasn’t thirst for water. Their hearts were flooded with disobedience, and they didn’t listen to His voice.”
This is a lovely, solid, thoughtfully constructed book that would make a wonderful addition to your home library.
