Summary
This picture book starts out saying that Easter may have been a quiet day, or perhaps it was crazy with the world rejoicing. There are many examples of animals and people making a joyful noise to celebrate Jesus conquering death. Finally, we can make all these noises and sing and shout for Jesus.
Mom Thoughts
This is another sweet gem by Jill Roman Lord. Her rhyming isn’t forced, but fun and lyrical. She includes lots of familiar animals that children will love, but continues to point back to the reason for their joy: Jesus. This would be a great book to read before doing a home hymn-sing; it would get your children ready to make a joyful noise to the Lord for sure!
