Summary

This is based on Zechariah 3:1-5 where Joshua, the high priest of Israel, stands before the angel of the Lord with dirty clothes, but then he replaces Joshua’s garments with clean ones. Sproul clearly connects this Old Testament scripture passage to its intended fulfillment in Christ.

Mom Thoughts

This beautifully illustrated picture book is masterfully crafted.  Sproul’s children’s books are a bit lengthier, but if your child’s attention span can make it about 10 minutes, this one is a must. This is my favorite of Sproul’s picture books, as it so clearly points to our own insufficiency and Christ’s perfect righteousness and sacrifice. I highly recommend it for your family!
