Summary
A young girl compares her family Thanksgiving to Abigail Archer’s perfect family Thanksgiving. Written in 4 lined rhymed verse, she describes what people wear, their manners, the food, sleeping arrangements and more. In the end, she concludes that both families are alike in how loving they are.
Mom Thoughts
This is a fun and wacky Thanksgiving story with equally wacky illustrations. My kiddos enjoyed the silly pictures and sometimes over the top text. There is one page where someone is burping quite vividly. All in all an off-beat but good Thanksgiving book.
