I love this book. Not hiding my feelings here. It’s filled with sweet short stories that will engage your new reader, there are clear opportunities to have gospel-centered conversations, and it’s all accompanied by Joe Sutphin’s stunning illustrations- really, it’s a homerun. Something else I very much appreciate is the fact that the main characters are boys and masculinity is applauded. There are lovely moments of bravery and kindness. Do be aware there is one story that has Little Joe wander off by himself in the woods. Overall, I cannot recommend it enough!
