This devotional starts with a short scripture passage followed by a “Trace the Thread” section that briefly explains the passage and how it connects to Christ. Aunt Thoughts

This small book is jam-packed with great Scripture truths. I love the focus on Jesus’s coming, birth, life, death, resurrection, and eternal reign. This is a wonderful Advent family devotional guide that you can use at the breakfast table to start your day, or possibly for an evening family devotional time. The overall daily reading takes just a few minutes (less than five). Depending on the prayer time and any other activities you may incorporate with this devotional guide, it could be done well in around 15 minutes.

The book’s cover is beautiful, and the quality of the hardback book and paper are excellent. You may want to note the rest of the book does not contain illustrations. Still, your family is sure to grow in their head and heart knowledge of God from this well-done Advent devotional. Although it is designed for families with children, it will be a great Advent devotional guide for anyone.
