Summary

These small comic books use proverbs as their inspiration. On each page, there is a three-frame comic and the corresponding proverb is written underneath in the King James Version.

Mom Thoughts

Although these little comics are designed for children, comic lovers of all ages can enjoy them. Each comic portrays a proverb, sometimes showing the positive side and sometimes the negative. As a result, there are many questionable behaviors, but I’ve listed some of the more offensive ones. However, if you’re comfortable reading the proverb to your children, you’ll likely be fine with the comic that accompanies it. The characters in the comics are all animals, and while they offer a lighthearted take on the proverbs, they also bring them to life in ways children might not expect or fully realize at first. These clever comics help the truth of the proverbs resonate in your child’s mind long after they’ve finished reading.

As there are some adult themes in the proverbs, there are some in the comics as well. See below.

Language:

Dumb and lame are used.

Questionable Behavior:

Animals get drunk.

Smashing store windows.

An animal is shown vomiting.

Violence:

There is some cartoon style violence.

Other Things to Note:

Socialism is mentioned.

A harem is mentioned.

A fox is depicted as the harlot and (Proverbs 7:26) lures some animals in. She is then shown with their bones.
