The subtitle of this book is “Teaching God’s Word to Toddlers,” and there are mini-units that teach the following principles: The Bible is God’s Word, God Made Everything, We are All Sinners, Only One God, God is Good, Jesus Came to Earth, Jesus is the Son of God, Jesus died on a Cross, Jesus Came Back to Life, Go Round and Round the World. There are also sections to assist you in teaching toddlers and ideas for how to use this book at home.

Each unit has six sections: Big Truth Song, Hear and Learn, Play and Learn, Memorize and Learn, Eat and Learn, and Create and Learn.

This is essentially a ten-mini-unit curriculum completely written out for you, best suited for children 18 months to 4 years old. This is so well organized, so well thought out, and dripping with truth. This author clearly has lots of experience with this age range because they are the appropriate length and keep the children engaged while speaking- exactly what it claims- big truths.

The song for “We are All Sinners” may need a bit of an explanation. The text is “We are all sinners. We don’t obey God.” Clarifying that this isn’t a command, but a truth about the state of our hearts may be in order. This could be used at home, in a preschool setting, or in an age appropriate Sunday School setting. This is an excellent resource!
