Summary
After being left behind by her brothers, Ruby discovers three sticks. She uses hers as a sword. After she offers the other two to her brothers, she is left behind again. Ruby uses her sword to do all kinds of imagining. Finally, she builds a tent where her brothers bring peace offerings and they all build a castle together.

This beautiful little picture book does a lovely job of showing real-life sibling situations without children being nasty to each other. It also shows the beauty of something like a stick when you have the right imagination. This is a sweet and fun read!
