Summary
Across the road, there was a space with old wooden boxes and cactus. Marian called it Roxaboxen and it became a marvelous city for the children in the town. They added on and on and played for endless hours. After years passed, each child still remembered Roxaboxen and told their children about it.

This book is an absolute pleasure from beginning to end. The writing is simply captivating and transportive. If you are a lover of “living books,” I think you’ll be drawn to this one. This is an incredible gem.
