Summary
The kind ox has a warm stable and room to spare. Animals come looking for a warm, safe place for the night and ox invites each one into the stable. Some are prey and some preditor but they all lay this aside for the night. Finally, Mary comes looking for a place to have her baby and the ox calls to her donkey to come inside. There is always room for a little one.

This book is all about the illustrations; they are captivating. The actual text is geared for younger children who will enjoy the repitition of animals coming to the stable looking for somewhere to stay. While being mostly about the animals and sharing, it is a sweet and simple addition to your Christmas book list. There is also a board book version available for even younger children.
