Summary
Owly is a gentle owl who is always looking to make new and unexpected friends. His best friend is Wormy, a worm whom he saves from a rainstorm. Owly always puts his friends first. Whether it’s hiking a long trail to get someone home, growing flowers to feed a friend, or sacrificing his own wheelbarrow to make someone a house, Owly shows time and time again that he is a true friend.

Mom Thoughts
While graphic novels are not my cup of tea, these are absolutely, crazily adorable. Owly is the sweetest, most gentle, and loving character. The storylines aren’t always happy and easy, but they always end up just right. If you have a new reader and are looking for a safe, beautiful, engaging, and sweet read- look no further. My five-year-old can’t get enough of this charming series!
