Summary
This is a parody of Dr. Seuss’s Oh, the Places You’ll Go but with Biblical encouragement for a youth to follow Christ.
Mom Thoughts
While this is written as a parody, it is actually quite a truth-filled little book! It uses real-life situations and examples with light-hearted, “Seuss-esque” illustrations to give a chuckle and impart wisdom at the same time. “It’s the maze-for-all-those-who-would-make-their-own-way. The way out is lighted-yet most choose to stay. These dizzy-daze misfits hook elbows and grin. ‘Will they ever get out?’ you ask. ‘Dare we go in?’ No! Here they just twiddle and wobble and spin.”
While the cover says, “A parody for all ages,” and can certainly be enjoyed by younger children, this might resonate best for people 10+ because some of the illustrations and satire will be lost on younger children and may cause confusion. This would be a great high school graduation gift for a child with a sense of humor or an older believer who loves Oh, the Places You’ll Go.
