Summary
A retired man, Mr. Putter, and his cat, Tabby, have many adventures. These adventures usually involve his neighbor, Mrs. Teaberry, and her dog, Zeke. While only a few are linked below, there are currently 25 titles in the series.

Mom Thoughts
These sweet early readers are a nice change of pace in content for children’s books. I love seeing Mr. Putter and Tabby have fun, get into a little mischief, and enjoy whatever situation in which they find themselves. It’s good for children to read about older people and how much they are really like younger people too. Although they may look like an early reader, the fact that they have chapters helps your new reader to feel that this series is a little more advanced, although there are only one to four sentences per page.

-In the book “See the Stars,” Mr. Putter and his neighbor Mrs. Teaberry “tell secrets.”
-In the book “Take the Train,” Mr. Putter and his neighbor sneak their pets onto a train after being told they are not allowed.
