Summary
This is an alphabet book that moves chronologically through the Christmas story. Each page has a word, “A is for Angel,” followed by a brief rhyme about how that word is connected to the Christmas story. There is also scripture on each page to further connect the word. There is a full-page illustration for each letter that also includes depictions of the Christmas story.
Mom Thoughts
This is a cute book for toddlers to teach letter recognition and connect it to the Christmas story. They do use traditional views of Christ being born in a stable. The people are also depicted as very European-looking. Overall though, this is simple, sweet, and a nice addition to your Christmas reading.
Note: There are depictions of baby Jesus in this book.
