Kyra Keulers, once a sinner and now a saint by the grace of God through Jesus Christ; is a wife, and mother to two children (for now), from Alberta, Canada. Kyra was raised in a Christian home, who thought she had understanding of the bible but didn’t truly know God personally. She spent 6 years in Thailand as a missionary kid from ages 13-19. After an abusive relationship in her late teens, she sought to pursue the Lord and at age 19, journeyed to New Zealand to attend the Monavale location of Torchbearers, more commonly known as Capernwray. There, rekindling her understanding of God as well as her relationship with Him, also met her now husband. Her husband challenged her in her faith, which further encouraged her to pursue understanding who the God she loves truly is. Now living in a small city in Alberta, Kyra is a devoted wife and mother who seeks to train her children up in the way they should go. Kyra is very enthusiastic about homesteading and homeschooling, and desires to use whatever God has blessed her with to serve her family, others and ultimately the Lord.

When Kyra discovered Good Book Mom, she was thrilled to see such a wonderful ministry and resource to help aid in discerning what her children will read (when they are old enough to). Now as a contributor to Good Book Mom’s ministry, it is a joyful blessing to be able to assist in helping parents discern, but also giving herself an opportunity to practice said discernment when writing.
