Mom Thoughts
This picture book is from a series that highlights ordinary people who change the world. The style of this series almost comic book-like reminding me very much of Calvin and Hobbes. For some reason, they keep the title character smaller and child-like the entire book, even when they are an adult. There is quite a bit of information about Washington’s life in this book and while his faith is never mentioned, it is a good resource for young children to learn much about our country’s first president in a short amount of time.
