Haggis and Tank sail the open seas, chase dinosaurs, and run through Scottish castles in this almost graphic novel style light-hearted series.

Mom Thoughts
This series is not a true graphic novel series; it blurs the lines of chapter books and graphic novels, which could greatly appeal to reluctant readers. I love how the author has such fun “playing” with the English language and using many homophones which can be confusing for young readers. I really enjoy the first two books, the third is not as great.
Things to know about book three: Haggis and Tank imagine they are being chased by a werewolf. There is a depiction of Haggis in a yoga pose. There is a book titled, “Hairy Pawter” as a wordplay joke.
