Mom Thoughts
If your children have read any of The Chronicles of Narnia, especially The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, they might find this book very interesting. Because it’s in picture book form, it is still engaging for young readers although the story is actually historical of Lewis’s life. I was disappointed that his faith was never mentioned or even alluded to, however.
This would be a great resource for children studying Lewis. There are glimpses of Narnia in the illustrations throughout until the end when it comes to fruition. A unique picture book, but one that will interest Narnia fans indeed!
