This devotional/interactive science book has 52 devotions. Each has a designated scripture, an introduction from the author, a supply list, the experiment, an explanation of what is happening, a devotional, data collection, and prayer time.

This is a very unique devotional that seamlessly joins science and scripture together to help your child learn about both in a fun and interactive way. While some of the experiments are ones that you have likely seen in other settings, (sprouting seeds, shaving cream and food coloring rain clouds, Borax ornaments) others are a bit more original. Even though some of the experiments may not be new, the way that they are paired with scripture makes them feel fresh and can help those passages come alive in a different way.

I also appreciate how the devotional sections, while sometimes stretching the analogies of the experiment, strive to point our children to Christ, whether the scripture comes from the Old Testament or New. They are thoughtfully written and will encourage your children to look to and trust Christ. This is a wonderful resource for your family!
