Different Like Me by Xochitl Dixon

This brief picture book talks about the similarities and differences between children, sometimes involving their differing abilities.

While this book does address some disabilities, it is also simply about how children are alike and different. It uses short, simple sentences to show this: “Some kids like to throw. Some kids like to catch. Some want to stand out. And some want to match.” It is published by Our Daily Bread and has scripture at the beginning and at end of the book, as well as saying “God made every kid different and special, like me!”
