Summary
This is a retelling of the story of Deborah and the battle with Sisera. Throughout the book, every time someone speaks your child is encouraged to put a finger to their lips. Likewise, when someone listens they can put a hand to their ear and when someone does something they can point to their hand.
Mom Thoughts
This is another wonderful addition to the Very Best Bible Stories series. My five and three years olds loved listening for the action words and trying to do them through the entire book. As always, this is charmingly illustrated and sticks to scripture. There are many parts of this story omitted, but for young children, it is an effective retelling.
