Summary
Elsie, who is non-verbal and uses a wheelchair, is very excited about the upcoming Father-Daughter dance. She uses a book with pictures and words to communicate with people. There is a big snowfall on the night before the dance and Elsie is afraid it will be canceled, but it is not! The dance is even better in real life than what we imagined it would be.
Mom Thoughts
This sweet story doesn’t hinge on the fact that Elise has an obvious disability, it simply follows a young girl as she prepares for and enjoys a wonderful evening with her sisters and dad. This is a delight for any and every family.
