Mom Thoughts
There are other books on the market that are set up like this book, but this is the Christain publisher’s response. I like how these are very brief overviews of the women’s lives, giving you the big-picture idea. The full-page illustrations are also lovely.
There are many amazing, Godly women in this book, but there are a few that make me scratch my head, and some which I would skip entirely (ie: Christine Caine). While all of these women may have claimed (or do claim) the Christian faith, I struggle to see all of the selections as “Daring Women of God.” If used with discernment, this could still be a helpful resource for your family to learn about a wide demographic of Christian women and a great springboard to get your children’s interests peaked in real-life heroes.
