Brittney is a wife, mother, and teacher in Mississippi. After being a false convert since the age of 7, God used cancer to bring her to true repentance in faith in 2021. She teaches middle and high school history and is the JV Volleyball coach at a local Christian School. She enjoys podcasts, audiobooks, and family days at home.
As the Lord opened her eyes, she began reading and consuming more content at the same time her oldest was beginning to read. She began searching for good content to keep in her home, which brought her to GoodBookMom.
One thing that makes Brittney’s perspective unique, is that she grew up without knowing she was dyslexic. Having graduated high school (with honors, but through many tears), she didn’t learn she was dyslexic until college. Now, Brittney has a passion for reading, providing others with good content to read, and helping kids and parents see the superpowers of dyslexia.
