Summary

This is a brief picture book biography of Betty Greene’s life. It begins with her childhood, follows her through learning to fly, and retells a few very daring stories. There is a timeline at the end with a couple more details of her life, followed by a photograph of Betty.

Mom Thoughts

This is a very simplified biography of betty Greene’s life aimed at children ages four to eight. The illustrations are realistic enough for it to not seem like a fairy tale, but soft enough to appeal to younger children. This was such an exciting book for my children to read, they were held captive by Betty’s story. The author does an excellent job of choosing which few things to include and I think you and your children will thoroughly enjoy it. I highly recommend it for your family!
