Summary

Henry is searching for a friend at school, which is proving to be difficult because many of the students do or say things that Henry doesn’t like. Finally, he finds Katie who he seems to be a good choice, and they become friends.

Mom Thoughts

This book never openly identifies Henry as autistic but is written by a mother for her son with ASD. We see Henry struggle to find friends, really try, and finally, succeed. It’s a lovely, brief story to help children understand why some children may have a hard time finding a friend.
