Once the vilest offender, Elizabeth has been preserved, restored, and pardoned by the rich mercy of Christ. After growing up all over the United States and abroad as a military brat, she now resides in a small city in the Northwest of England with her husband and two daughters.
Having been greatly influenced by feminism and critical and cultural theories, she spent most of her twenties working on multiple master’s degrees and a doctorate in the areas of language, culture and education. Thanks to God’s grace and provision of faithful and patient Bible teachers, she slowly began to see the beautiful distinction in womanhood and motherhood and critiques these academic theories as anti-Biblical. She now uses her education to teach English as a second language classes at church. The majority of her time, however, is spent in the gloriously messy and life-giving work of home education and raising her daughters alongside her husband in the knowledge and love of the Lord.
Unable to leave all of her academics behind, she still spends most of her free time reading books, spending too much time in the library, hosting book clubs, and presenting Christian book recommendations and reviews to her church family. She has given talks on how to read Christian literature with your children and how to share your faith in cross-cultural contexts. If she isn’t at home with her children, hidden in a book, or at church, you’ll most likely find her hopping around the English countryside and exploring as many castle and abbey ruins as she possibly can.
