A rhyming book that teaches children an acronym for prayer: P.R.A.Y.

P=Praise
R=Repent
A=Ask
Y=Yield

Aimed at ages 3-5.

I will be honest. When I saw the cover of this book, I misjudged it. I didn’t think something that had such a “cutesy” illustration approach could be anything but fluffy…but I was so wrong. This lovely little book has practical and understandable application for our young children, while using the Lord’s prayer as a model. It’s well thought out and Biblical.

“Even when we sin, guess what?
God welcomes us to pray.
No need to hide or keep it inside;
God washes our sins away!”

At the end of each acronym section, they highlight the part of the Lord’s prayer that corresponds to that word. Overall, this is a solid resource (with cutesy illustrations) that I would recommend to anyone with small children.
