It’s Good to Be a Boy by Champ Thornton

This is a picture book aimed at ages 3-7 that celebrates the joy of being a boy. It highlights traits that God has given boys as well as examples of godly men from Scripture and history.

In a culture that loves to tell boys they need to be more feminine; this is a much-needed little book. Highlighting hard work, growing life, and keeping guard, it offers just a few of the reasons why it’s good to be a boy. In fact, encouraging boys to embrace the way God made them as male is so rare, I think every little boy could benefit from this “celebration of all that God made [them] to be.” Such a simple concept, but such a needed book.
