Mom Thoughts
This 6 titles series feels like Little House on the Prairie meets first chapter books with a leaning for boys. It’s charming, quaint, and elevates the simple things in life. There are large black and white illustrations throughout, making this a perfect choice for newly independent readers. Morals are higher regarded, for example, when Logan lies in one book, he ends of confessing and apologizing to his dad. There is a strong emphasis on family and hard work. Overall, this is a wonderful choice for your young reader.
Note that I wasn’t able to get book #5 for this review.
