Mom Thoughts

These picture book biographies are beautifully illustrated and have a “Goldie Locks” amount of words on each page. While the target age is 6-10, these could certainly be used with children younger than six. The illustration are soft and lighthearted. I love the author’s desire to tell a mixture of stories–some that are well-known and others that are taught less. I also appreciate how the Gospel is pointed to often,

“David had just enough energy and health to preach to the Indians only a few more times. The Indians responded to the message of Jesus with great emotion and conviction. They wanted forgiveness and salvation from their sins.”

These would be a lovely addition to a home or church library.
