This short book is filled with 40 days of scripture-based prayers. Each day includes a short excerpt from a Psalm, Praises for God, Thanks to God, and Requests to God.

This little book can have a big impact on your family’s prayer life. Although each day is short, having our children focus intentionally on other Christians in other parts of the world who lead very different lives from our own helps on several fronts: it shows our children that there are Christians all over the world, it teaches our children to see the needs of others around them, it helps our children to remember to use prayer as an effective tool, not just for those people we know personally, and it helps to remind our children of the realities that other Christians face every day. I love the accessibility of this book for any family who has five minutes to pray together.

Do be aware that in an effort to use translations easily understood by the entire family, this book uses the NLT, ICB, and CEV in addition to other translations.
