God Loves You, Little Peanut by Annette Bourland

This is a rhyming book that celebrates the excitement of a new little “peanut” in the world from the perspective of a joyful parent. The illustrations depict animal families all over the world interacting with their children and including God in the narrative.

This is such a sweet, beautifully illustrated story for your littles. The pictures are adorable and detailed. While this is a celebration of a child, it also points to God. For example, “You’re a gift from God above,” “We know God will provide for all of our cares,” and “…thank God for his grace.” This would be a perfect baby shower gift or present for a child five and under.
